AtlantaSWG T-ShirtYou may notice a new link in the menu that points you to our T-Shirt shop. Some of you have asked when I was going to start running ads on this site or something of that nature. Well, this is about as close to that as you're likely to see. If you would like to support the AtlantaSWG website, or if you just want a really cool looking T-Shirt to wear at our tournaments, you can now order a T-Shirt with our logo on it and each T-Shirt ordered will send $5.00 back to cover the costs of running this site.

Unlike some online T-Shirt companies, the company that I chose for these shirts uses a digital printing method that looks better and lasts longer than the typical digital transfer. The image of our logo is printed directly onto each shirt so it should last for quite a while and stand up to normal wear.

If something seems to be missing from our logo (for instance, something in red and something in silver/metal) it's because we do not own the intellectual property rights on those things and the last thing we want is to have a certain company send their lawyers at us for infringment. ;)

There are other items available which use the Digital Transfer method of printing (basically printing our logo on an iron-on transfer and applying it to the material) such as messenger bags and hooded sweathshirts. If there is enough interest in those types of items, I'll be happy to add them to the shop.

Ackbar MapCharacter Maps

One of the most effective ways to build the Character you envision is to create a Character Map.

A Character Map is a set of notes, a diagram, or a chart that you make up to outline the Classes, Talents, Feats, Skills, Ability Increases, and other features that your character will take on its journey from Level 1 to Level 20

Clone Wars Miniatures Booster and Starter SetWell the official Clone Wars Miniatures Errata has been posted on Wizard's of the Coast's website. There are some important changes that everyone should take note of, including some changes that you might not have seen coming. Since these are official, all of these rules will be enforced in our tournaments, which probably goes without saying.

Anyway, on to the errata!

When the Empire Strikes Back, the Galaxy Shudders.....

The iron grip of the Empire stretches across the galaxy, and only the Rebel Alliance fights to keep the Imperial fist from crushing the flickering light of freedom. But the Rebels have the Force on their side…

There are only 3 weeks remaining until the release of Imperial Entanglements, the next expansion to the Star Wars Miniatures line. We've been treated to some wonderful previews of figures to come and have gotten an advanced look at some of the remaining figures by way of leaked information and good old fashioned sleuthing.

Most of the set has been spoiled and I, for one, am very excited about what we have coming to us. I'm going to list all of the figures and stats that we know of so far so, if you're the type who doesn't like knowing these things ahead of time, this is the point where you stop reading.

EDIT: Quick Update! Star Wars Mini Manager, which you can find in the menu to the right, is being updated as the characters in the set are revealed. If you use Mini Manager, you'll want to update to the latest version. If you don't use Mini Manager... you don't know what you're missing!

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the great series of articles by Bill, our most recent guest columnist, on playing Star Wars Miniatures to win. You can find both articles and subsequent discussions at the following links:

How to Win - Part 1

How to Win - Part 2 - Assessing the Meta

And thanks, again, to Bill for these wonderful articles!
